India trip [day 13.]
Luckily, those were the only two classes I had today. After school, Cyril felt sorry for me and took me to buy Pepsi and chocolate. I was a happyyyy girl.

India trip [day 7.]
Side notes: I love not wearing makeup.
I've been wearing my hair in pigtails. Yes, it's finally long enough to do that.
Indians think my headbands are funny.
I'm pretty sure my esophagus has been spiced away.
There's a McDonalds, Taco Bell, Dominoes, and KFC here. We're going. I'm scared.
We are having to move. Our landlord came and said we had 15 days to get out. Sooo, that'll be fun. Pray for that.
A school bus for the orphanage got in an accident and some kids died. :[ I'm not sure of any details yet. But pray for that too.
Keep the emails and the prayers coming, guys.

India trip [day 2.]
Having this Mac is succchhhh a blessing, let me emphasize.
The power goes out at random times during the day, so we just kind of sit around and I play Mac chess. Lol. I'm already kind of sick of Indian food. On a positive note, I have about 7 cups of hot tea a day.
This is going to be a long and boring post, but stay with me here.
We arrived at the Bangalore airport at 3:30 am India time [4:00 US time]. I was literally the only American in the entire building. Ha. I'm getting used to being stared at. Alot.
When we went outside, I was showered with bouquets of flowers and a garland…thing by Cyril's [that's the man I'm living with/traveled with] wife and mother. Then went on a crazy tazi ride and discovered that the cars are like British cars – the steering wheel/driving lane is backwards. I also realized that honking is very very very prevalent. Anytime you pass someone, you flash your brights and honk multiple times. There are also no stop signs at intersections. You just…go. Ha. Also lanes don’t really matter. We swerved back and forth, drove in the middle, who cares? When we arrived at Sister Jossna’s [Cyril's mom] house [where I am staying] we took off our shoes, had the grand tour, and went to sleep. I have my own room, and I have three beds. Lol. I got to choose which one. There are no air conditioners in India, so my fan was on full blast and all my windows were open.
I set my alarm for 9 am because I didn’t want to be rude and sleep all day, however badly I wanted to. I went downstairs and had my first Indian meal of the summer- Indian bread and curry potatoes. Then they told me that Cyril was still asleep, so I went upstairs and slept until 5pm. Ha.
I watched an Indian movie that had the same plot as Home Alone, along with some of the same actions [AKA paint cans coming down from the stairs, tarantula on the guys face, etc.] except that dogs were the ones saving the house?
Ohoh!
I forgot to tell you.
In Canada I was interrogated by very scary Canadian policemen. [eh?] They were completely suspicious of the fact that I was a 16-year-old white girl traveling with a 40-year-old Indian man. Lol. They were SO mean. Ohmygoodness. They asked about a billion questions about Cyril, my parents, my photography, my luggage, etc, and then took my phone away and left me alone for about 30 minutes. Yeah, that was unnerving. Then I was escorted to literally the most frightening bathroom I have ever experienced. When I came back, he kind of shoved everything back at me and sent me on my way. Fun, eh? I hate Canadians, I've decided. Well, policemen, at least.
Anywayyy. I'll let you stop reading my ridiculously long post. Keep me in your prayers and email me! phojotography@yahoo.com

PS. I have no hair products of any kind. Yayyyy natural flippy hair.
PPS - Gatlin members, PLEASE give people my blog url and/or ask Pam to put it in the announcements. I think this will be the replacement for my email updates.
PPPS - I learned my first Kannada word today - Bakasura. It means glutton. I call Cyril that and everyone just laughs and laughs. Lol. Indians have a fun sense of humor.

Kate [maternity.]
A lot has changed since then and it's INSANE that I'm taking maternity pictures for my sister now. It's a little sad, actually...she's having the baby AND moving to Missouri while I'm in India.
But! She didn't trust me at all. I took her to locations and she literally dissed me because they were "ugly." Well how's this for ugly, Kate?
Yeah. That's what I thought. So enjoy.
Side note: Six days until I leave.
I went and got my shots today and I was on the news! It was fun. Ha.
Had a MASSIVE shopping trip.
Tomorrow is the first time I get to sleep in since...ever. Goodness.
Had to cancel my senior shoot today because my car died in the middle of Marlow. :[
Anywayy. Next post...Jordan's senior pics?

Sabrina [pageant.]
No? Okay...remember her?
Yep. That's what I thought.
Well, Sabrina's momma called me to shoot the Little Miss V-A pageant, in which "Bina" participated.
[yeah, I know. Not the greatest quality of shot. I've got a Rebel. They don't shoot stage shots too well.]
She had to wear a "sporty" outfit,
and a "formal" one.
No, she didn't win. But at least she's cute, right?
Side note: I leave in 15 days.
I'm not exactly prepared yet.
THOUGH! I did get my new luggage in. :]
Sooo cute. :]
This picture pretty much sums up the last week. Ha.
In the next fifteen days I need to:
-Pack to move out of my house and into my new one.
-Pack to live in India [in my new luggagggge].
-Get the crazy Indian man off my Facebook who keeps saying that "my India shirts have the wrong map of India and I need to get them off Facebook ASAP. How would I like it if he wore a USA shirt with a distorted United States on it?"
-Get my Visa.
-Get my shots. :/
-Finish up all my shoots [and deliver all my old ones]
-Watch Ed Wood
-Finish the boy's India present.
-Do all my oh-so-fun homework.
Yay next two weeks!
Next post: My sister's maternity photosss.
