"Now Dwight knows not to cut the face off of a real person." - The Office

I am a disgrace, a black speck upon the pure name of blogging.
I did not blog. For TWO days.
I truly am ashamed and apologize to everyone.
But! Let's recap the past two days, shall we?

On Friday I did nothing all day, for my school is a pansy and decided to cancel school. AGAIN.
I have not been to school since last Monday because of a tiny bit of ice.
However! I am not bitter.

On Friday night I babysat Michelle's kids, and Asa said my name! Well...if saying "Nananananananana" counts. Which it does. However, he refuses to say it again.
After I was done babysitting, I stayed the night with Ashlea. We watched some weird movie from the eighties with Keanu Reeves in it. Actually, I cannot spell his name worth a flip. But you get me. Anyway! Friday wasn't very exciting. Saturday, on the other hand, was fun.

On Saturday I went to IHOP for Millicent's third birthday. [Millicent being one of Michelle's children]
I met some of their extended family that I've never met and they were really fun. Then the IHOP staff came out and sang to Millicent, from which she hid her face in Ashlea's neck. Which was pretty hilarious to me.
After the party I hung out with Ashlea some more, lost a game of Sequence, and got sweet tea spilled all over me. She also stole my iPod, but I did not discover this until today. But I punched her in the arm. So we're even now.

On Saturday night I went to my friend Mikey's house for "Movie Night." Movie Night is just a time when me and some of my friends (Mikey, Erica, Emma, Alex, Malia, and sometimes my best friend Parker) hang out at someone's house and watch a movie. This time we watched Juno.
During which I walked two miles on the treadmill. Ha. I was feeling very...single. The Movie Night group consists of only one other un-taken person. So yeah.

After Movie Night I came home to watch the HUGE UFC fight. BJ Penn vs. George St. Pierre. It was a great fight, ladies and gentlemen. Is it surprising that I am a MMA addict? I don't want to spoil anything. Though I wish I could. GSP was flawless, and BJ Penn's legs are like another pair of arms. It's scary.

Wow. I am SUCH a horrible blogger. I just...post things. Ha. But. I'll talk about today tomorrow. Right now I am watching The Office.

Rebel Fund consists of $257.80. Which is quite a bit less than $600. But I'm climbing. Slowly. Goal: Canon in my possession before May 15th.

Bye, bloggers. (Or should I say blogger?)

[[Unplayed pianos sing me to sleep]]

Fond greetings to all who may be reading this dreaded first post.

I decided to start a blog because...well. I'm not exactly sure why.

However! I'd like to begin with a quote. This quote was randomly on the "preview layout" and I liked it quite a bit. I don't know why.

"I should be much for open war, O Peers,

As not behind in hate, if what was urged

Main reason to persuade immediate war

Did not dissuade me most, and seem to cast

Ominous conjecture on the whole success;

When he who most excels in fact of arms,

In what he counsels and in what excels

Mistrustful, grounds his courage on despair

And utter dissolution, as the scope

Of all his aim, after some dire revenge. "

Typing this in on my beloved search engine, Dogpile, brought up "Paradise Lost."

So there you have it, readers. I'm sure you're eternally grateful that I wasted your time with a random quote of John Milton's.

However, I do believe that a "first post" should tell a little about the blogger. So here I go.

My name is Johannah. (Pronounced Joe+Hannah. Pretty simple.) I am a "PK," which is short for "Preacher's Kid." Now, before you go off on your sterotypical thoughts, I must make it known that I am not stuck-up nor am I a rebel druggie.

Speaking of Rebel, I am very interested in photography and am currently saving my money for a Canon Digital Rebel XTi/Canon 4000 camera. It costs somewhere around the vicinity of $600 [not to mention accessories] and I'm nowhere CLOSE. Despite this, I will count down the monetary amount I lack each day I contribute to this blog. (Except today)

Anyway, right now I am feeling sore. We've had ice covering the ground for the past few days and my friend Ashlea and I played on it last night. And, being the pansy that I am, I am very sore from it. But she is too, so I don't feel as bad. This is us, by the way.

Ashlea is on the right, and I am the one with the beard. (Yes, it is eyeliner. And yes, it was Lumberjack Day. Also, Ashlea did NOT dress up, therefore making me look out-of-place. However, I still love this picture.)

Well. With this, I conclude my first blog post.

Respectfully yours,

[johannah]
